Hey, I'm Sam.
I’m a creator from Tecumseh Michigan who specializes in motion graphics, illustration and visual effects. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with brands like Zingerman’s, Salad’s Up, and World Wildlife Fund. I was also the head of the Michigan Theater Young Filmmakers Camp, where I taught students about narrative theory and cinematic storytelling. Most recently I contributed visual effects to the feature film Bloodmoon!
In my free time I like to compose grandiose pop songs and experiment with digital animation. I’ve got a personal project in the works that combines those two worlds, and I can’t wait to share with you.

Throughout my life I’ve studied many different disciplines: filmmaking, game design, music theory, narrative theory, you name it. I’ve learned that all of these artforms intersect, that there are core principles to creating beautiful, interesting work in any medium.
If you have a project that you’d like some help with, contact me with the form below. Even if you’re early in production, I’d love to hear about what you’re working on.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to hear from you soon!
